Daniel Brown There is no artist that I can say that affects me more musically or emotionally than Tim Hecker. Having listened to his entire discography obsessively for years, there is almost always something new to pick up. The cascade of images and subtle elaborations he puts into the spaces is profound. I honestly do prefer The North Water over Konoyo and Anoyo. He is in my opinion the Dostoevsky of music, the seering hot scalpel dissecting the brain. There is no other parallel. There is only, Hecker. Favorite track: Twinkle In The Wasteland.
